An additional generous second floor suite known as the “Keillor Suite” is named after the prominent Dorchester resident John Keillor. He was appointed to the prestigious role of Postmaster in 1805. His original home is still standing and operated as a museum by the Westmorland Historical Society. A fitting tribute to the elegance of a time gone by.
This suite features an elegant queen size four poster bed next to an elegant functioning original slate, natural gas fireplace. A large sitting area that has two chairs and a very comfortable queen-size pull-out couch. This will fit a family of four very comfortably.
Our signature private ensuites are part of this room as well. There is a beautiful ornate period vanity, and décor. An inviting period-styled elegant claw foot tub awaits you. A heated Italian ceramic tile floor add to the comfort of the room as do the large glass and ceramic waled walk in shower with a rainfall shower head.
For your added convenience the room also has its own fridge with complimentary bottled water, and a coffee/tea station with a wide variety of choice.
